Backstory: Jaffar had trained to be one of the greatest assassins in the world since someone had hired assassins to kill his parents. At the top of his class, Jaffar had killed his teacher and ran off to become a Villian. When one of his friends, Eliwood had asked him to join him he changed. After the journey was done he settled down with the person he loved (Nino). But when the same assassins started searching for him he fled and he didn't want to go down the path of villians again...
