Character
Q: How many Characters can I start with? A: 1
Q: How can I get more Characters? A: The Character max is 3. You can make a Second Character when you reach 100 posts! A Third Character can be obtained through prizes from Games and Tournaments, or as a Plot Prize for sticking through a Plot until the end. Additionally, a Second or Third Character can be bought for $5 USD each. PM Link for more information.
Q: Can I be a Race other than Human? A: Human is the primary race, but there are exceptions. You can be a Robot or a Cyborg, but your Power Origin must be Robotic, and you have to explain how you can perform each Power of yours. If you wish to be a Vampire, you will have to use a Powerset listed in the Vampire Category of the Powers Library. If you wish to be an Animal Humanoid, such as a Bear, Wolf, or Dragon, you will have to use a Shapeshifting/Form Powerset.
--Q: Can my Character have Wings? A: Yes, however, you cannot fly until you have a Power that specifies you can. This is easiest with the Flight Secondary Powerset, which can be obtained at lvl 2 earliest, from a Lab.
Q: Can my Character start with a Weapon? A: Yes. Even if your Powerset does not involve using a weapon, your Character can still start out with a simple weapon, such as a knife, sword, spear, etc. Your weapons cannot have ANY special powers, unless your Weapon is what gives your Character their powers (Such as using a lighter for the Fire Powerset, like Pyro in X-MEN) --However, your Character CANNOT START WITH A GUN. PERIOD. The ONLY exception to this is for a Powerset that involves a gun. Agents and military will receive a gun when they get their first Mission. ---If you are unsure about your weapon, simply ask a Staff Member.
Q: What Languages can my Character know? A; All Character start off with English. This is the only language a Character can start with*. --Other Languages, such as Spanish, Chinese, French, etc, can be obtained through Promos, and as Prizes. ----*A Character may start with an additional Language if their Character comes from a certain region's descent, such as a French person who is coming to the City, or an American-born Mexican, who speaks both English and Spanish. If this is the case, please be sure to simply run it by a Staff.
Q: How do I Lvl? A: 95% of the time you lvl by doing Missions. You can also Lvl from Promos. Additionally, you can buy a Lvl for $5 USD. PM Link for more information.
Q: How do I change my Character's Side? A: First, you must have a Change Sides Token to do so. A Change Sides Token can be obtained through prizes from Games and Tournaments, or as a Plot Prize for sticking through a Plot until the end. Additionally, one can be bought for $1 USD. PM Link for more information on buying. Second, you must come up with a reason IC as to why you wish to change. ---Please note that it is incredibly difficult to go from a Villain to a Hero. If your Villain has done horrible, terrible things, it is probable that he will not be accepted as a hero, and may even be arrested.
Q: What is an NPC? A: An NPC is a Non Player Character, or a Non Playable Character. These are controlled by Staff. You can interact with them, and most of the time you will have to fight them. Keep in mind that you do not control their actions at all.
Q: My Character died. Can I revive him? A: Of course. What fun would it be if your favorite Character died? There are 2 ways to be brought back to life. The first and most simple way is to have your body brought back to a Lab by another Character, where you(or your friend, if they choose) must pay 1000 credits for each Lvl you wish to gain back (You cannot go higher than the Lvl you died at). --If no one brings your body to a Lab, you might be able to bribe a Staff Member into coming up with a way for your Character's Corpse to somehow find it's way to a Lab. But what if your body was destroyed, and can't be brought back? Well, then you will have to head to the Spirit World. Simply ask a Staff Member for the link to the Spirit World (It is a Hidden Board) Once at the Spirit World, you will venture until you find either the Being of Darkness or the Being of Light (Depends on whether you were good or bad during life). They will ask for Tribute in order to bring you back. --Once you have been revived, simply create a Thread of your Character awaking in the Graveyard (Downtown). --The only downside of this way is that you lose a Lvl, with the exception of if you were at Lvl 1 already (Since there is no Lvl 0)
Q: If my Character dies, can I make a new one? A: Yep. If your Character dies and you've grown tired of using them, simply toss them aside like the old plaything that they are and start anew.
Q: If I grow tired of using a Character, can I get rid of them? A: Of course. You can Retire a Character, putting them on hold, and out of the RP, in order to create a New Character. Then, if you ever want to reuse them, you can come back to them (As long as you arn't using another Character) --The exception to this is if your Character is participating in a Site Plot, or is with another Character. You must RP your Character's Retirement, and come up with a valid reason as to why they wish to Retire. ----Or, you can talk with a Staff member into killing them. Just remember that if you ever want to revive them, you will have to go through the Revival process listed above.

Missions
Q: What is a Mission? A: A Mission is a task that your Contact sends you on. These can range from investigating an area to bringing back a certain item, to defeating X number of NPC's. Completing a Mission earns you Credits ($), Red Coins, and a Mission Credit, which is used to lvl.
Q: What is an Open Mission? A: An Open Mission is a Mission that an NPC or Character has posted requesting help. These arn't usually given by the normal Contacts. Many are restricted to a certain Side, with the exception of a Bounty Hunter, who can do any Open Mission. An Open Mission, unless otherwise stated, rewards only 1/2 a Mission Credit, but usually rewards more Credits ($) and Red Coins, and on occasion special items.
Q: What is a Contact? A: A Contact is who your Character receives a Mission from. They vary depending on your Characters Side.
Q: Can I do a Mission Solo, or with a Team? A: You can do both. While going Solo is the most common, going out with a team is a great way to socialize. Missions can also be a great deal easier, after all, 2 heads are better than one, and there's strength in numbers. perhaps teaming up with a friend will allow you to defeat that really hard NPC.
Q: What is a Squad? A: A Squad is a group of Characters of the Same Side and Group, who band together to perform Special Squad Missions, which are obtained from Squad Contacts. More info on Squads can be found *Here*
Q: Is there a Limit to the number of Missions I can do? A: Not really. You are welcome to do as many Missions as you can, even after you obtain Lvl 10. However, you are only allowed to do One Mission per day. It is abnormal to do more than one Mission in a day, so this Rule is to promote fairness, and make sure that a Mod doesn't favor a specific Member with quick and easy Missions.
