Back story: Maylinn was taken in, from being on the streets with her twin sister, they lived with their foster parents; MayLinn didn't know about her power until she was thirteen. When she first got her powers, she would burn weaker objects with her fire, scaring her foster parents. Soon she was able to destroy larger things. One day, she was fighting with her parents, and got so mad, she accidentally burned down her house; her sister was in side. She was so scared she ran away from home, or at least what was left of it. She was walking alone on the street, and met a man, he offered her a place to stay. The next day he taught her the way to use her power, and how to control them. For protection she was given a scythe. Later on, her powers corrupted her; she killed her master, and fled. A thirst for power was in the back of her mind, and all her life, she has bean trying to get rid of it.
