See, it's only funny if it's not a dead giveaway.
The only reason I didn't actually start a betting pool that you were joking is that I once made a vow not to swear.
The funny, you see, is directly proportionate to the unexpectedness, which here is negative, and to the negative of the cruelty. Which here is high and positive. So you've got a whole lot of negative funny. Way to go.
In related news, taking something you're offered isn't called 'greed'. It's called being polite and grateful, you don't refuse a gift. I think everyone here posted their expectation for it to be an April's fools thing, so there isn't a lot of gullibility or stupidity here either.
In other words, you just failed at failing to fail. Thank you very much.
Oh, and you'd have to give Tommy a lethal heart attack to lower his powers.
